BBR Spice Omega has announced that star driver Albert Langarcia will miss the upcoming Grand Prix of San Jose after sustaining injuries in a training accident. Team medical staff officially declared Langarcia unfit to compete.

Despite the setback, the team reports that Langarcia remains in high spirits and is expected to make a full recovery. The focus has already shifted to his rehabilitation, with the driver setting an ambitious target for a comeback.

“Albert is making every effort to return to the grid for Round #4,” a team spokesperson stated. “His goal isn’t just to race, but to be back on the podium.”

Langarcia is eyeing the Grand Prix of Fremont, hosted by Warm Springs Raceway on June 14th, for his competitive return.
